Athlete Spotlight - Griffin Kleinknecht

Griffin Kleinknecht is a junior at Middletown High School who plays varsity Football and Lacrosse. Wrapping up a phenomenal football season by winning a division three championship while also being named division three lineman of the year, first team all-division, and 2nd team all-state.

He has been coming to the gym for just over 2 months but his commitment and dedication to improving are already showing strong results.

In the 10 yd dash he has jumped from 9.93 mph to 11.82 mph and in the flying 10 he has improved from 13.46 mph to 14.72 mph. He also cut down time in his 5-10-5 from 5.41 seconds to 5.22 seconds while improving his pushup count from 18 to 28.

Outside of the numerical improvements, Griffin’s biggest impact has been as a leader in the gym. Similar to some of the athletes we’ve highlighted recently, he serves as a great role model for our younger athletes through the work ethic and attitude he brings in everyday. Consistently working hard, but always takes the time to say hi or ask the younger kids about how they’re doing in their sport. He’s even shown signs of being a future coach and tried to recruit one of them to the football team 😂

Griffin has the goal of playing Division 1 football, and we’re excited to help him pursuit his dream. Join us in wish him the best of luck this lacrosse season.
