Athlete Spotlight - Grace Haskell Portugal Women’s Lacrosse

Grace Haskell from Dartmouth, Massachusetts has been recruited to Portugal’s Women’s Lacrosse team! Grace graduated from Dartmouth High School this past May & will be continuing her education at Merrimack College!

This is the first time Portugal has been invited to the Euro League. The athletes are playing for a chance to make it to the World Cup. The game of lacrosse has been newly introduced to Portugal. There are high hopes that Portugal’s presence in the Euro League this summer will kickstart a chain of growth for lacrosse in the region.

Grace’s family has directly descended from Portugal, allowing her the chance to participate for the team. She is working on gaining citizenship in Portugal, as well as, field time prior to her fall as a freshman.
